Call for Interview Participants: Disability-Inclusive Climate Action Study
The Global Disability Innovation Hub, as part of the AT2030 programme funded by UK International Development, is conducting a research study titled: “State of Disability Inclusion in Local Climate Action and Pathways for Transformation.”
We are currently seeking participants for online interviews to support this important research.
Who We’re Looking For
We invite expressions of interest from:
- Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) (priority group)
- Disability activists and advocates
- Disability-focused NGOs
- Experts in inclusive urban development and climate action
Participant Locations
Participants should be based in one of the following cities and able to speak about urban planning, disability inclusion, and climate action:
Nairobi, Warsaw, Columbia (USA), Toronto, London, Wellington, Buenos Aires, Kuala Lumpur, Durban, Dhaka, Mumbai, Lisbon, Dakar, Amman, Amsterdam, Port Moresby, Honiara
We particularly welcome individuals with lived experience of disability. We are especially interested in hearing from women with disabilities, who are often underrepresented in climate action planning despite facing disproportionate impacts.
Interview Details
- Format: Online (via Microsoft Teams)
- Timing: June to July 2025
- Duration: 60–75 minutes
- Topic: Disability-inclusive local climate action
- Compensation: A small voucher will be provided if selected
- Registration Deadline: Wednesday, 18 June 2025
