Ahmad Rifai

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Ahmad Rifai, commonly called Rifai, is the co-founder and director of Kota Kita Foundation, a non-profit organisation with expertise in urban planning and citizen participation in the design and development of cities. Rifai is a seasoned urban activist with experience on a range of urban issues in Indonesia, such as urban informality and poverty, participatory planning and budgeting, urban resilience, civil society, inclusivity, and social movements. 

Rifai has been involved as a part of the AT2030 sub-programme “Build Capacity and Participation” in Indonesia, in partnership with The Bartlett Development Planning Unit (UCL).
